The sky stretches so wide, so beautifully

The steppe overwhelms me with its vastness

I'm on horseback like a true nomad

On my way to a herder's white felt ger.



A long song reaches so far, so wonderfully

A herder harmonizing with the nature

A mother camel weeps from the music

A horse-head fiddle softens her world.

It's an amazing country

Such an exciting country

It welcomes me, awes me and draws me back

Danish men of Bulgun Tal

In a secretly remote corner of Mongolia

There is a place with many rivers and a beautiful steppe

Telling the legends of adventurous Danish men

Like the fairy tales of our native ancestors



The Danish men arrived from their far away land

Crossing icy rivers in the deepest cold of winter

Making new friendship and bringing us close

Forging a bond we cherish for all these years in Mongolia



The river sustaining them, Egiin gol oo

The steppe feeding them, Bulgan tal aa

They were Danish friends, Danichuud

Bringing wonders we had never seen before.
